BLACK WOMAN SEARCHING

I've been out there long enough to have acted out all wildness left in my system
And now I'm looking to settle down
Or maybe to settle up

Being single has its benefits and I've taken advantage of them all
And contrary to what I sometimes believe
I don't think I was created with the intention of spending my life alone

I've been to the clubs, socials and all singles scene
But still I haven't been able to find him
Hopefully you can help me

I'm artistic, he's my inspiration
I'm ambitious, he's goal oriented
I'm a free spirit, he's longing to be free

Am I asking for too much
